  • Limited Executive Rooms with one queen size bed, for both Friday and Saturday nights, are available for single occupancy, including all meals, and facility fees for $599.58. These rooms are not available for more than one conference attendee. If you plan to bring a non-attendee partner and desire an Executive Room please contact napo@napo.net.

5. Is there a daily conference registration rate for individuals who only want to come for one day?

  • No, a daily registration rate is not an option.  There are limited spaces at NAPO2018 and they will be reserved for those attending the entire conference.

6.  Will I be able to get enough CEUs at NAPO2018 Retreat?

  • Yes, you will still be able to earn CEUs as you always have at all other NAPO conferences.  The education tracks have been changed to reflect the retreat experience. You will still have a choice of over 20 sessions to choose from that may work for you for CEU credit.
  • Additionally, the BCPO, in an effort to keep the CPO credential relevant in the changing world of virtual education, has lifted the limit on the number of recorded or online modules that count as CEUs. With proper documentation, up to 100% of CEUs required for re-certification or presented as substitute hours for CPO eligibility can come from non-live courses.  Therefore, you may get your CEUs from conference recordings and attend the concurrent session that you desire.

7.  What is the conference registration cancellation policy?

  • NAPO® will refund the registration fee only with written request sent to napo@napo.net.
  • Registration payments made will be refunded, less a $100 processing fee, if you cancel prior to Monday, February 12, 2018.
  • If you cancel between February 13, 2018 and April 13, 2018 registration payments will be refunded, less a $200 processing fee.
  • Registrations cancelled after April 14, 2018 will not be refunded.

8. How do I apply for a conference scholarship?

  • The Barry Izsak | Glorya Schklair Conference Scholarship Fund provides financial support for a minimum of two qualified NAPO Members each year to attend NAPO's Annual Conference. For the NAPO2018 Retreat, the scholarship provides each recipient a conference registration plus a standard hotel room for two nights. Due to the unique retreat structure, meals are also included in the 2018 scholarship. Scholarship award recipients are still responsible for transportation and other travel expenses related to attending the Retreat. NAPO members of one year or longer may apply for the scholarship on NAPO POINT.

9.  Meals, Snacks and Nourishment

  • Learn more about Q Center dining at https://www.qcenter.com/dining-entertainment/q-tower/
  • Please note dietary restrictions on your registration form (do not contact the Q Center directly.) The hotel provides buffet services. There will be vegetarian, gluten free and kosher options; however, unique allergies may not be able to be accommodated.
  • A nourishment hub with snacks and beverages will be available throughout the Conference from 7:30 am until 11:00 am and from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm in a common area near the meeting rooms

*Dietary Restrictions – Notes from the Q-Center*
Any guest that has entered a special dietary need on the online registration site will receive an information card at check in that looks like the image below. Menu identifiers are used in the dining room to highlight common allergies/ingredients. Of course, if while going through the dining room you have a question on an item, the dining room manager and supervisor can assist.

10. Can I stay at Q Center before or after conference?

  • Yes, Q Center is offering NAPO a rate of $163.84 per night for Wednesday and Thursday nights before conference. This rate includes 3 meals a day and facility fees. Please check with the hotel directly for other dates.

11. Is it true that space is limited?

  • NAPO has contracted with Q Center for 425 rooms for both Friday and Saturday nights. If presale registrations come close to reaching our room reservations, the Board will consider expanding the block.  Attendance at NAPO2017 was around 575 attendees.

12. I live locally, can I attend if I do not sleep on site?

  • Yes, you may.  Registering for the conference and for Q Center are two separate, but required transactions. Please complete conference registration as outlined in FAQ #2, above as you normally would.  You will also need to register separately with Q Center for the “Day Meeting Package,” * which will cover your lunch and facility/meeting charges.  Breakfast and Dinner are on your own.

* Day Meeting Packages (DMP) are $98.32 per person, per day (rate inclusive of service charge).
Day Packages are for attendees who do not spend the night at Facility.  The DMP includes a buffet-style lunch served in Facility Dining rooms.  If day package attendees choose to add conference dining meals not included in their packages, there will be an additional charge of $15 inclusive for common breakfast and $35 inclusive for common dinner at the attendee’s expense. The Q Center day rate cost for all three days is $294.96.

13. How does transportation work?

16. What should I wear?

  • Even though this year's conference is being promoted as a "Retreat, the recommended conference attire will remain business casual.  Remember:
    - Convention facilities can be cool because of the air conditioning, so remember a sweater or light jacket.
    - Some conference attendees choose to wear more dressy party attire for the President’s  Reception. This year's color theme is NAPO Blue and Silver!
    - Remember to bring your industry “bling” such as CPO pin or Golden Circle pin.
    - Please keep in mind that NAPO has a fragrance-free policy.
