NAPO Membership CategoriesProvisional Member Provisional MemberMember Dues:$275 per year Individuals engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession join NAPO as Provisional Members. After purchasing and completing the Professional Practices Coursework, Provisional Members advance to Professional Member status. Provisional Members can also achieve savings by purchasing an educational bundle at the time that they join. The options are:
“Going Pro” Member Education Bundle A Provisional Member enjoys many NAPO membership benefits. However, the privileges of being listed in the Professional Organizer and Productivity Consultant Search Tool, joining NAPO Special Interest Groups, voting, and serving on the Board of Directors are reserved for our Professional Members. It is NAPO’s hope that our Provisional Members will quickly advance through their provisional status and move on to becoming Professional Members. The Path to Professional Membership Status Professional MemberMember Dues: $275 per year Prerequisite: To qualify for Professional status, members must have completed the three classes in the Professional Practices Coursework (see Provisional Member section above) OR earned the Certified Professional Organizer® credential. *Special Value*
Members who have previously earned Professional status and wish to rejoin NAPO, may call NAPO HQ at 856-380-6828. Multi-Person BusinessMember Dues: rates vary Organizing and productivity businesses with more than one employee or owner may purchase multiple memberships at a discounted rate. Membership through this dues structure is available to the business’s owners, partners, or W-2 employees only; independent contractors are not eligible. Under this structure, business owners and/or employees will share the same renewal date. Each individual member will join as a Provisional member and not appear in the Directory until s/he has completed the three classes in the Professional Practices Coursework (see Provisional Member section above) OR earned the Certified Professional Organizer® credential to become a Professional Member. A Professional Member participating in the Multi-Person Business structure is entitled to the full range of NAPO membership benefits, including a listing in the Professional Organizer and Productivity Consultant Search Tool, voting privileges, and eligibility to serve on the Board of Directors. Membership seats are transferable within the business. For example, if individual leaves a business during the membership term, that business can designate another owner, partner, or W-2 employee in that seat. Education Options: Retired MemberMember Dues: $75 per year A Retired Member will continue to receive NAPO’s membership benefits, is entitled to voting privileges, and may serve as a Director on the Board of Directors. Allied MemberMember Dues: $275 per year An Allied Member receives many NAPO membership benefits, may serve as a Director on NAPO’s Board and participate in Board votes as part of Board service, but does not have general voting privileges and cannot serve as an Officer of the Association.
Student MemberMember Dues: $50 per year Business PartnerNAPO is proud to partner with businesses that manufacture, sell, and/or distribute organizing and productivity products and related services. The Business Partner membership offers the opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and related services to 3,500 NAPO members. Click here for details. |
