Do you like to help clients move, pack, unpack, relocate, project manage a move process or anything in between? Do you have 3 years of experience in the realm of Moving and Relocation, but are not yet a Moving and Relocating SIG Member? Please join our SIG for a 30-minute, in-person meeting on Friday at 4:45 pm. Everyone will enjoy getting to know other SIG members face-to-face and since we all know how to get a large job done in a short amount of time, this quick meeting time will be right up our alley! (Or should I say moving truck?) See you all there!
Authorship & Publishing SIG
Who loves to organize and write about it? If you’ve made writing (a book, blog, column, etc) a part of your life for over three years and wish to be part of a community of ‘Writing Organizers,’ we’d love to meet you at our 30-minute Authorship & Publishing SIG meeting on Friday at 5:15 pm! We’ll be doing some planning, brainstorming topics of interest for future calls, and we’ll get to meet the faces behind the voices on our monthly calls. Looking forward to meeting you!
Photo Organizing SIG
Calling all Photo Organizers! Have you been offering digital and print photo organizing services to your clients for at least two years? Do you consider photo organizing to be a significant percentage of your residential organizing business? Did you answer 'yes' to both questions, but you aren't yet a Photo Organizers SIG Member? If this sounds like you, please join our current SIG members on Friday at 5:45 pm for a 30-minute, in-person meeting. First, we will announce our 2017-2018 meeting schedule and call topics! Next, we will have a short discussion about how we can get the most out of every call. We will end our meeting with some casual networking. As you may have predicted, a group photo will be snapped, shared, and digitally filed before our time is up!
If you’re a trained coach, who offers stand-alone coaching sessions or coach support to organizing or productivity clients, the Coaching SIG can be a wonderful resource for you and if you qualify to join us, we’d love to have you attend our Coaching SIG breakout meeting on Friday at 5:15 pm! To qualify to be a Coaching SIG member, you need 60 hours of core competency coach training delivered live through a foundation program that includes trainer observation and feedback of student coaching. You also need one year experience with paying clients and, of course, professional membership in NAPO.
Each month, we meet to deepen our understanding of how coaching can facilitate client awareness and change, discuss coaching resources and best practices, and identify effective marketing and packaging of coaching services. It’s a great place to learn, share and earn CCE (continuing Coach Education) hours. In recent meetings, we’ve looked at the neurobiology of coaching, sponsored coaching, perspective work, coaching nuggets from ICD/NAPO/ACO conferences, cultural competence and values conflicts, client motivation, ethics, and more. Please join us if you qualify!
Tech tech tech. If apps, gadgets, and productivity hacks are your jam, you shouldn’t go another month without joining the NAPO Tech SIG. Our members work with individuals, small businesses, homeowners and corporate-types to apply technology as an organizing tool. Services can include hands-on work with individuals or training sessions and workshops for groups. If you’ve been doing this for the last two years or more, we want you to come to our Tech SIG Breakout Meeting on Friday at 4:45 pm! You don’t have to be the industry expert in technology. It’s impossible to know it all, so you’ll love having this diverse group within NAPO who can talk Apple, PC, iOS, Android, and everything in between, and be a resource for you. Monthly calls often feature outside industry speakers as well as group discussions that allow us to share how we are all using a tech tools in different ways. Join us at the SIG meeting on Friday, where we’ll share ideas about what we want our SIG to look like over the next year. We’d love to have your input!
Working With Seniors SIG
Do you have 2 years of experience organizing seniors and their families but haven't yet joined the Working with Seniors SIG? Please join our SIG on Friday at 5:15 pm for a 30-minute, in-person meeting where we will discuss our upcoming meeting topics of interest to those of us who focus on the senior population and their unique needs. Most importantly, meet the SIG members behind the voices on the phone!
Multi-Person Business SIG
Do you have W-2 employees? If you have had employees for 2 years, then please join the Multi-Person Business SIG on Friday at 4:15 pm for a 30-minute, in-person meeting. You will meet other members and see why we believe this SIG is like having a board of advisors to help navigate the added details of owning a business with employees. Our topics this year have included hiring, benefits, technology to manage the team and our clients and how to best lead our teams. Please join us!
Speaking For Fees SIG
Do you get paid as a speaker or trainer? Have you been doing this for at least 3 years? Come join the Speaking for Fees SIG on Friday at 5:45 pm for a 30-minute, in-person meeting to plan for our 2017-18 meeting dates and topics, and get to meet each other face to face! See you there, speakers!

Small Business SIG
Do you focus on organizing small businesses, and have 3+ years experience working as a Productivity Consultant/Small Business Organizer? Please join our SIG on Friday at 4:15 pm for a 30-minute, in-person Small Business Organizing SIG Meeting where we will network and plan our 2017-2018 call topics! SIG members will have input on topic preferences for future programs. Most importantly, everyone will enjoy getting to know other SIG members face-to-face. If you are not currently a SIG member be sure and attend the SIG Speed Dating Meeting on Wednesday where you can get all your questions answered about SIGs. Welcome to all eco-sensitive organizers! Do you work with eco-awareness, striving for environmental sustainability? If you integrate practices of simplicity and sustainability in your own life, and your organizing work has included environmentally conscious practices for at least two years, please join us for the Eco SIG Meeting on Friday at 4:15 pm! This will be a 30-minute, in-person meeting where we plan the topics and programs of our upcoming monthly calls. Input on potential eco topics you'd like to learn more about is most welcome. Best of all, we will all have the chance to meet Eco SIG members in person!
